Quarter Peals

The B&D has recorded 226 handbell quarter peals between 1964 and 2016, an average of just over 4 per year, the maximum in any one year was 26 quarters rung in 1974, but there have been many years with no recorded lengths on handbells. 133 quarters were rung on 6 bells and 80 on 8 bells.

There have been a total of 27 handbell peals rung for the B&D with 7 being rung in 1967 and 6 in 1974.
