My Sister's Keeper
by Jodi Picoult
Some felt that this was a good story whilst not being terribly believable.
It raised some interesting ideas but was not impressive as a work of literature.
The story purports to being told from separate viewpoints which was appreciated by some as a structure although the different voices lacked authenticity.
The ending was seen by all as particularly weak.
Nonetheless the book did give rise to a lengthy and stimulating conversation particularly regarding moral and ethical (anybody know the difference?) issues.
