Rooms of Dust
- The Search for my Father
by Sarah Pat O'Brien
We all enjoyed this one, though to varying degrees.
Everyone agreed that it was a great story with well-drawn and interesting characters and an intricate and tantalising plot.
The writing is atmospheric and brilliantly evocative of time and place.
In parts it is laugh out loud funny in the style of a black comedy but it also has interesting and relevant things to say and can be appreciated on several levels.
