The Truth

Even the Pratchett fans among us made no claims for this book as a great work of literature seeing it more as good fun and an enjoyable story.
We all, to varying degrees, appreciated the humour seeing it as following in a great British tradition of radio, television and books.
A few of us found the plot totally confusing and were puzzled by a vast array of weird and wonderful fantastical characters.
Even those who were strangers to the genre were able to appreciate the skillful, witty writing and the intelligent satire and pastiche.
Some of us who were not already aficionados vowed to delve further into the Pratchett oeuvre – others were not so enthusiastic.
