The Visible World
by Mark Slouka.

At the heart of the book is the assassination of the odious Reinhard Heydrich, so-called Reichsprotecktor of Bohemia and Moravia. The story of the assassination is largely based on historical fact and is woven around a fictional love story. The structure of the book is interesting and, to some of the group, problematic. Some found the early part of the book difficult to follow and confusing. Certainly it is a complicated story which rewards perseverance even though some of the links remain obscure.

To some of us it was a wonderful story, beautifully written. Many of the elements do come together but the author realises that he will never be able to piece together the entire truth and the “Novel” is constructed to lay the ghosts of the past.
