This was supposed to be an easy “summer beach read”. When we understood more of the character of the author (stand-up comedian) then we understood more of the character of the book
It’s light comedy and not much else.
Indeed the squirrel on the cover is an enigma.
The cover is the best part of the book.
The book would have been better as a recording rather than on paper.
The unresolved question related to the political affiliation of the squirrel on the cover, “Trotskyist”?.
