Errors and corrections

It is impossible for this study to be “error free”, there are just too many people and transcriptions involved. For the errors that I have introduced, I apologise. If you spot a mistake, or what you think is a mistake, please drop me an e-mail.

Problems

There are many "orphans". Hopefully, with making this work publically visible, some children will be re-united with their lost parents.

Your assistance with this would be gratefully received.

There are also some internet records that seem to us to be erroneous. Our perception of the errors is noted on each affected record (main sources) viz.

  • FreeBMD: Postem Note made on FreeBMD
  • FamilySearch: Citation note on this website
  • Yorkshire BMD: Citation note on this website

When a problem is resolved the record will be updated accordingly.
