Francis was the fifth child and third son of Francis Crimlis and Margaret Haxby.

Francis was a fisherman aboard4:

Francis gained his "Second Hand" certificate 26th November 19134.

1929: (Q4): Francis died in Filey age 62.5
His M.I. reads:

In Loving Memory of Frank, beloved husband of
JANE CRIMLISK who died in his 62nd year, May 13th 1929
'We shall meet again'
Also of the above JANE CRIMLISK who died in her 82nd year, Feb 4th 1953
