1898 - 1899: James married Lucy J O'Niell

1900: USA Census:2
James, age 24 was living with his wife in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. See Philadelphia 1900 for details. They are in a rented house, and have a boarder, Francis O'Niell. Both Francis and Lucy have a Scottish mother, so it is assumed that they are siblings. Both James and Lucy could read, write and speak English. James was working as a Hosiery presser.
