Ringing Warwick Delight Minor.
Track the treble
Awareness of the position of the treble is a key skill for most bellringing methods,
and a significant help in ringing Caernarvon Delight Minor.
Some hints and tips for developing the skill are given in the
techniques
section.
Positional Awareness
Thorough learning of the spacings and touch points of the work below the treble will save much heartache and wasted practice time.
2nds place bell and the pivot bell ring a Stedman Whole Turn "hand in glove", then 4ths place bell leads as the pivot bell and then works with its afterbell (6ths place bell).

The method has 34X34, X, 36, 12, 12X34, 16.

Awareness of other bells
See Coursing Order notes.
Coursing Order in Warwick Delight Minor
- Natural Coursing Order is well preserved throughout (NB Kent above).
- Below the treble, the frontwork bells arrive and depart in Natural coursing order.
- Below the treble, the frontwork pair is a coursing pair (2-4), and the pointy work in 3-4 is also by a coursing pair (6-5).
- Little Bob Lead end order gives the abc effect on the three bells starting with a as 2nds place bell.
b is pivot bell, a and c cross in 2-3 as the pivot bell leads at the half lead, and c goes on to become the next 2nds place bell
- d and e are a coursing pair and dodge together in 5-6 in both 3-4 sections, and cross in 4-5 at the Half Lead.
