The following Monumental Inscription can be found in St. Oswald's Churchyard, Filey:
In Loving Memory of our dear brother DAVID the beloved husband
of ‘KATE’ HUNTER died May 9th 1908 aged 38 years
As for me I will behold Thy face in righteousness
I shall be satisfied when I awake with thy likeness
Also of his wife CATHERINE HUNTER died Aug 20th 1941 aged 82 years
