Frank W Crimlis was the second child and second son of Joseph Crimlis and Mary Wheeler.

1881: (Q1): Frank was born Filey. The middle letter "W" probably is for "Wheeler" from his mother's maiden name.1

1911: UK Census:4
29 Year old Frank was head of a family comprising his wife and three children, running his own business as a fish merchant, and living in Hull. See Hull 1911 for details.

1915: Francis Crimlis was born
1918 - 1940 Frank is listed as the owner of several steam trawlers registered in Scarborough (nearest port to Filey).5
1942: (Q2): Frank died in Filey aged 60. 6
