John was the fourth child and third son of George Johnson Crimlis and Annie Elizabeth Sargent.

1911: UK Census:
Jack a.k.a. John, age 20, was living at home in Reynolds Yard with his father and siblings. See Filey 1911 for details.

1912: John married Sarah Ann Scales in Filey.3
1912: Ann E Crimlis was born.
1914: Sarah J Crimlis was born.
1916: Marjorie Crimlis was born.
1920: John Crimlis was born.
1946: John was present at the wedding of his son John Crimlis.
1950: John died aged 60 in Filey.4
