Shows "Jane Skelton" age 10, born in Scarborough area. (Following the marriage of her mother,
Mary Crimlis, to
Thomas Skelton, Jane was given the family surname).
1902: 28th April, 1902, Jane Skelton (age 21) married
George Samuel Johnson (age 22) in
Hull at the Parish Church of St. Stephen. 4, 5
George came from the Johnson fishing family, and Jane's father,
Thomas Skelton, is quoted as a painter.
George Samuel, and Jane had seven children viz:
Hilda 1902; Samuel Ross, 1909; Betty (brought up in Filey), 1910; Jenny, 1916; Lily 1919; Doris, 1922; and Vera, 1924.
1950: Jane (Johnson) died in Hull.6
