Thomas Robert Crimlisk was the fifth and last child and fourth son of Matthew Crimlisk and Hannah Cross.

1902: Thomas Robert Crimlisk was born in Filey.1

1919: Thomas Robert Crimlisk died in the "Emulator" disaster of 15th April 1919, along with father Matthew and brother Wilfrid Crimlisk. The "Emulator" had been used for minesweeping duties during WWI and was on her first trip out after return to fishing duties. She struck a mine 26 miles off Flamborough Head with the loss of all 9 crew members.
