May 2017 - Walking Festival with Stories

Following tremendous efforts from two club members, a full week of walks, some embellished with stories, took place.

The Walks

  • Saturday 6th May, Skidby 6 mile circular
  • Sunday 7th May, North Cave Wetlands Part 1: 7 miles circular, part 2, guided tour of the reserve.
  • Sunday 7th May, Story Stroll with Tall Tales from Hull
  • Tuesday 9th May, History Walk, Old Town Hull 6 mile circular
  • Thursday 11th May, Water Walk Haltemprice Priory and the Water Wars
  • Friday 12th May, Fishing Walk 6 mile along the river
  • Saturday 13th May, Withernsea Beach Walk 5 mile circular (Click for a Poster)
  • Saturday 13th May, Withernsea Story Stroll 1 hour, with stories (Click for a Poster)
  • Sunday 14th May, Welton 10 mile circular
