September 2017 - Plotting

Stairs to the Plotting Parlour

With the blessing of the landlord, the club members spent the evening (in the Plotting Parlour of Ye Olde White Harte) planning the evening with Shonaleigh, sharing a few stories, plus the odd glass or two.

Peter

The Lord Mayor and the American, a Hull story, happy ending.

Shelagh

The Sexton's cat, Ton Tyndrum, is dead, spooky ending.

Fran

The Japanese Merchant's daughter and the bamboo flute, sad ending.

Richard

Humpty Dumpty has more to him than you think; doesn't the Beverley Gate incident in 1642 show "People Power"?

Cath

The Drug Pusher's Poem.

Steve

How the old woman got her pig home, and why she swallowed a fly.
