Hull Story Club - Water walk

Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd, lunchtime stories.

Under the able leadership of Cath B, the Hull Story-Tellers Club took the lunchtime spot on both aturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September

We had stories for younger people on Saturday and not quite so young on Sunday. Maritime tales, and Freedom inspired us to explore myths and legens, folk stories, faerie stories and [personal anecdotes.

Dastardly deeds by the North Sea Monster were compared with a public spirited dragon, damage to the moon, selkie stoies, and the Freedom Bird. There was poetry (but none in the oral tradition) and exquisite singing. Competition from noisy nearby events was overcome.
